Our Post and Auxiliary are part of DISTRICT 5 within the DEPARTMENT OF CONNECTICUT.

For the Good of the Order and Safety/Well Being of our Members -- please familiarize yourself with the above ‘Understanding VFW Auxiliary Traditions’ youtube video.

For our monthly meetings:

Please enter the Post through the Canteen door.
Once in the Post, please enter the meeting room through the inner door which connects the Canteen to the meeting room.
Once in the meeting room, please take your seat to await the Opening Ceremonies.
Please do not come to the head table before the meeting. The officers are setting up their paperwork to provide you with an efficient, informative, and orderly meeting.

· Our meeting will begin promptly at 7 PM on the third Wednesday of each month.

· Our Guard will check the door twice during the meeting (at the times designated in our Podium book) to see if anyone is waiting admittance.

· During the meeting, please follow the instructions given in the above video for the proper ways things must be done to be in compliance during our meetings.

· Please do not shout out from your seat during the meeting -- raise your hand to be recognized by the President, and please do not discuss things with your neighbor, creating conversations that are not part of our order of business.

· Please exit the meeting room immediately upon the close of the meeting.

· Please do not come to the head table immediately after the Auxiliary meeting ends. The Officers will be completing Auxiliary business and organizing their paperwork.

· Once you exit the room and are in the Canteen area, please do not discuss Auxiliary business in this area (this also applies to other areas/places where people who are not members of our organization can hear the conversation).
